I am deeply familiar with what it feels like to question your own worth, to live with a nagging feeling of being inadequate and to hold a deep fear of being seen for who you really are. If it wasn’t for the gift of therapy, I might still feel that way today.
Although my approach to therapy is rooted in Gestalt (the whole is more than the sum of its parts), I integrate a variety of therapeutic styles and modalities to accommodate each individual’s process of thinking and feeling.
I earned my master’s degree in Psychology Counseling from California Institute of Integral Studies and hold a BA in Journalism from University of Oregon. Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent many years working in the advertising industry and when I wasn’t working at my day job, I taught Vinyasa yoga. I have a scruffy little terrier named Lucy who shares my office with me.
